At 1502 Candle Co., celebrating and protecting the environment have always been at the forefront of what we stand for. Our fragrances are inspired by nature and our products are created in a way that is environmentally responsible and sustainable. Now, we are excited to announce that we have expanded our initiative by becoming a member of 1% for the Planet®.

What Is 1% for the Planet?

1% for the Planet is made up of a network of like-minded businesses, nonprofits and individuals from all over the world. What brings us all together is the desire for a greener, healthier planet. So far, members of 1% for the Planet have contributed more than $175 million towards this goal.

What Does This Mean for Our Customers?

We understand that it can be difficult to know how to combat climate change and protect the environment by making financial contributions on your own. 1% for the Planet allows companies like 1502 Candle Co. and our customers to “accelerate smart environmental giving” and provide support in a credible and accessible way.

It’s simple: every time you buy one of our products, part of that purchase will go towards protecting the environment.

By becoming a member business, we will choose from a list of “approved environmentally focused nonprofit partners.” Then, 1% of our annual sales will be donated to this cause. Every time you buy one of our products, part of that purchase will go towards protecting the environment. It’s a simple model that takes the guesswork out of how you can make an impact in your daily life.

Stay Tuned…

We are excited about this new step for our business and what it means for 1502 Candle Co.’s customers. We’re carefully choosing which nonprofit we will partner with and will share this update shortly.

We’d love to hear from you with questions or suggestions on nonprofits that are dear to your heart, or ways you put the environment first – like supporting our refill and recycle program for candles, diffusers, and refresh mists. Contact us online to get in touch!
